# VOM App vs First Fields

The clearest difference is ads: First Fields at none against VOM App's shown. First Fields also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). VOM App's advantage is ratings volume (4.4K vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 months vs every 10 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for VOM App against 5.0 for First Fields. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VOM App has 4.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VOM App ships an update every 5 months, First Fields every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
