# TwistedWave Remote vs Dorico

TwistedWave Remote and Dorico both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of TwistedWave Remote's written reviews are positive against 55% of Dorico's. TwistedWave Remote also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). Dorico's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 90 months) and ratings volume (2.2K vs 5). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dorico sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. TwistedWave Remote asks for nothing beyond the download.

TwistedWave Remote holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dorico has 2.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
