# Parent Cue vs Journey CC

The clearest difference is update cadence: Parent Cue at every 2 months against Journey CC's every 19 months. Parent Cue also leads on ratings volume (2.4K vs 4) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Journey CC's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Journey CC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parent Cue has 2.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Parent Cue ships an update every 2 months, Journey CC every 19 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
