# Parent Cue vs Vertical Pursuit

The clearest difference is monetization model: Vertical Pursuit at free against Parent Cue's free with in-app purchases. Parent Cue's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vertical Pursuit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parent Cue has 2.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
