# 纵横小说 vs QQ阅读

The clearest difference is rating: QQ阅读 at 4.4 against 纵横小说's 2.8. QQ阅读 also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 62) and chart position (#142 vs unranked). 纵横小说's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (65% vs 52%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 纵横小说 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and QQ阅读 sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QQ阅读 holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QQ阅读 has 1.5K ratings behind it against 62, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of 纵横小说's written reviews are positive against 52% of QQ阅读's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

纵横小说 ships an update fortnightly, QQ阅读 weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
