# NGenius vs MEET PET

The clearest difference is update cadence: MEET PET at every 5 months against NGenius's every 24 months. NGenius's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NGenius ships an update every 24 months, MEET PET every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
