# Exact Online vs Eitje

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Eitje at 100% against Exact Online's 0%. Eitje also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription). Exact Online's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (15 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Exact Online holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Exact Online has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Exact Online's written reviews are positive against 100% of Eitje's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Exact Online ships an update every 4 weeks, Eitje every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
