# Lacune Solitaire vs Pyramid

The clearest difference is ads: Lacune Solitaire at none against Pyramid's shown. Lacune Solitaire also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). Pyramid's advantage is ratings volume (336 vs 3) and update cadence (every 8 months vs every 23 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pyramid holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pyramid has 336 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lacune Solitaire ships an update every 23 months, Pyramid every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
