# Handbid vs Valhalla Kennels

The clearest difference is monetization model: Valhalla Kennels at free against Handbid's free with in-app purchases. Handbid's advantage is ratings volume (27K vs 5) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Valhalla Kennels holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Handbid has 27K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Handbid ships an update monthly, Valhalla Kennels every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
