# GPX Tracker vs Tech

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GPX Tracker at 75% against Tech's 13%. GPX Tracker also leads on rating (4.3 vs 1.6). Tech's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (83 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GPX Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tech has 83 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of GPX Tracker's written reviews are positive against 13% of Tech's.

GPX Tracker ships an update every 3 months, Tech monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
