# Geometry ® vs ACT Math

The clearest difference is rating: ACT Math at 5.0 against Geometry ®'s 4.6. ACT Math also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Geometry ®'s advantage is ratings volume (224 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Geometry ® sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and ACT Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ACT Math holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Geometry ® has 224 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Geometry ® ships an update every 9 months, ACT Math every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
