# 7 Stories vs Lvup!

The clearest difference is price: Lvup! at Free against 7 Stories's $1.99. Lvup! also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 49%) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 12.0). 7 Stories's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.4) and ratings volume (25 vs 5). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Lvup! is free to download; 7 Stories costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

7 Stories holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 7 Stories has 25 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of 7 Stories's written reviews are positive against 80% of Lvup!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
