# Phone Drive vs Pearltrees

The clearest difference is rating: Phone Drive at 4.7 against Pearltrees's 4.2. Phone Drive also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.8K vs 197). Pearltrees's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 73%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Phone Drive sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Pearltrees sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Phone Drive holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Phone Drive has 1.8K ratings behind it against 197, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Phone Drive's written reviews are positive against 86% of Pearltrees's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Phone Drive ships an update fortnightly, Pearltrees every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
