# Phone Drive vs perli

The clearest difference is update cadence: Phone Drive at fortnightly against perli's every 3 months. Phone Drive also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 19). perli's advantage is review sentiment (84% vs 73%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Phone Drive sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and perli sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Phone Drive holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Phone Drive has 1.8K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Phone Drive's written reviews are positive against 84% of perli's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Phone Drive ships an update fortnightly, perli every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
