# Tableau Mobile vs M

The clearest difference is rating: Tableau Mobile at 4.6 against M's 1.0. Tableau Mobile also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 1). M's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
