# Tableau Mobile vs ExpenSys

The clearest difference is monetization model: ExpenSys at free against Tableau Mobile's freemium. ExpenSys also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tableau Mobile ships an update every 5 weeks, ExpenSys every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
