# Tableau Mobile vs Infor Birst

Tableau Mobile and Infor Birst both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Infor Birst's written reviews are positive against 26% of Tableau Mobile's. Infor Birst also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). Tableau Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 11) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Tableau Mobile against 4.7 for Infor Birst. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tableau Mobile has 2.8K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 26% of Tableau Mobile's written reviews are positive against 100% of Infor Birst's.

Tableau Mobile ships an update every 5 weeks, Infor Birst every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
