# Talking Face Bot vs Talking Pocoyo

The clearest difference is ads: Talking Face Bot at none against Talking Pocoyo's shown. Talking Face Bot also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (63% vs 48%). Talking Pocoyo's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (332 vs 50). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Talking Face Bot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Talking Pocoyo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Talking Pocoyo holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Talking Pocoyo has 332 ratings behind it against 50, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Talking Face Bot's written reviews are positive against 48% of Talking Pocoyo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Talking Face Bot ships an update fortnightly, Talking Pocoyo every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
