# IMSeye vs Guard Live

The clearest difference is rating: IMSeye at 3.7 against Guard Live's 3.3. IMSeye also leads on iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 15.0). Guard Live's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and review sentiment (34% vs 22%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IMSeye holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 18 and 44 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of IMSeye's written reviews are positive against 34% of Guard Live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IMSeye ships an update every 5 weeks, Guard Live weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
