# פנגו vs פלאפון שלי

The clearest difference is rating: פנגו at 4.6 against פלאפון שלי's 3.5. פנגו also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (3.2K vs 10). פלאפון שלי's advantage is review sentiment (30% vs 17%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

פנגו holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: פנגו has 3.2K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of פנגו's written reviews are positive against 30% of פלאפון שלי's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

פנגו ships an update fortnightly, פלאפון שלי every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and July 18, 2026 respectively.
