# Press vs Breitbart

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Breitbart at none against Press's 1. Breitbart also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (1.8K vs 114). Press's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.9) and review sentiment (51% vs 35%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Press sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Breitbart asks for nothing beyond the download.

Press holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Breitbart has 1.8K ratings behind it against 114, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 51% of Press's written reviews are positive against 35% of Breitbart's.

Press ships an update every 5 months, Breitbart fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
