# Brave Ghost vs EW Monsters

The clearest difference is rating: EW Monsters at 5.0 against Brave Ghost's 4.4. EW Monsters also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Brave Ghost's advantage is ratings volume (214 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brave Ghost sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and EW Monsters sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EW Monsters holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brave Ghost has 214 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Brave Ghost's written reviews are positive against 75% of EW Monsters's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
