# Draw Something vs Spin The Wheel

The clearest difference is rating: Draw Something at 5.0 against Spin The Wheel's 4.4. Draw Something also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). Spin The Wheel's advantage is review sentiment (66% vs 27%) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Draw Something sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Spin The Wheel sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Draw Something holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spin The Wheel has 1.9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Draw Something's written reviews are positive against 66% of Spin The Wheel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Draw Something ships an update every 6 months, Spin The Wheel every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
