# Terminal RSS vs Drum Coach

The clearest difference is price: Drum Coach at Free against Terminal RSS's $4.99. Drum Coach also leads on ratings volume (433 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). Terminal RSS's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and ads (none vs shown). On device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Drum Coach is free to download; Terminal RSS costs $4.99 up front. Drum Coach sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Terminal RSS asks for nothing beyond the download.

Terminal RSS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drum Coach has 433 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Terminal RSS's written reviews are positive against 75% of Drum Coach's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
