# SmartTub vs Classix

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SmartTub at 67% against Classix's 29%. SmartTub also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). Classix's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (4K vs 13). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmartTub sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Classix sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SmartTub holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Classix has 4K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of SmartTub's written reviews are positive against 29% of Classix's.

SmartTub ships an update every 5 months, Classix every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
