# PROmote vs ARMY RECALL

The clearest difference is price: ARMY RECALL at Free against PROmote's $5.99. ARMY RECALL also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). PROmote's advantage is ratings volume (6.2K vs 2) and chart position (#32 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

ARMY RECALL is free to download; PROmote costs $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ARMY RECALL holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PROmote has 6.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PROmote ships an update every 4 months, ARMY RECALL every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
