# Baby Rattle Plus vs First Words Learning

The clearest difference is rating: First Words Learning at 4.1 against Baby Rattle Plus's 3.3. First Words Learning also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (283 vs 3). Baby Rattle Plus's advantage is review sentiment (53% vs 43%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Baby Rattle Plus sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and First Words Learning sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

First Words Learning holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: First Words Learning has 283 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Baby Rattle Plus's written reviews are positive against 43% of First Words Learning's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Baby Rattle Plus ships an update every 13 months, First Words Learning monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
