# Superimpose vs PasteUp

The clearest difference is rating: Superimpose at 4.5 against PasteUp's 1.0. Superimpose also leads on ratings volume (3.2K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Superimpose sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and PasteUp sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Superimpose holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Superimpose has 3.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Superimpose ships an update fortnightly, PasteUp every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
