# Thirdmill vs PDPAsia

The clearest difference is rating: PDPAsia at 5.0 against Thirdmill's 4.7. PDPAsia also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). Thirdmill's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PDPAsia holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thirdmill has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Thirdmill ships an update every 4 months, PDPAsia every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
