# Quiztones vs Tracklib

The clearest difference is monetization model: Quiztones at free with in-app purchases against Tracklib's subscription. Quiztones also leads on review sentiment (64% vs 36%) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). Tracklib's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quiztones sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Tracklib sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quiztones holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 351 and 325 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 64% of Quiztones's written reviews are positive against 36% of Tracklib's.

Quiztones ships an update every 3 months, Tracklib every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
