# NOL vs TripTok eSIM

The clearest difference is monetization model: TripTok eSIM at free against NOL's free with in-app purchases. TripTok eSIM also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). NOL's advantage is ratings volume (4.6K vs 4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for NOL against 4.8 for TripTok eSIM. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NOL has 4.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 80% of NOL's written reviews are positive against 100% of TripTok eSIM's.

NOL ships an update fortnightly, TripTok eSIM weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
