# SAT Math Test Prep vs Test Prep

The clearest difference is monetization model: SAT Math Test Prep at free with in-app purchases against Test Prep's subscription. SAT Math Test Prep also leads on ratings volume (144 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). Test Prep's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 12 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SAT Math Test Prep sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Test Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Test Prep holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SAT Math Test Prep has 144 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SAT Math Test Prep ships an update every 12 months, Test Prep monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
