# ZDF vs TV Pro TV

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ZDF at none against TV Pro TV's 14. ZDF also leads on ratings volume (9.8K vs 83). TV Pro TV's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 66%) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TV Pro TV sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days. ZDF asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for ZDF against 4.6 for TV Pro TV. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZDF has 9.8K ratings behind it against 83, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 66% of ZDF's written reviews are positive against 90% of TV Pro TV's.

ZDF ships an update monthly, TV Pro TV weekly. Both last shipped on October 18, 2026.
