# ZDF vs DieMaus

The clearest difference is ratings volume: ZDF at 9.8K against DieMaus's 22. DieMaus's advantage is review sentiment (84% vs 66%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for ZDF against 4.7 for DieMaus. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZDF has 9.8K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 66% of ZDF's written reviews are positive against 84% of DieMaus's.

ZDF ships an update monthly, DieMaus every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
