# ABDi GateAccess vs PBC DART

The clearest difference is rating: ABDi GateAccess at 4.9 against PBC DART's 4.1. ABDi GateAccess also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (80K vs 8). PBC DART's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 65%) and iOS requirement (10.3 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ABDi GateAccess holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ABDi GateAccess has 80K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of ABDi GateAccess's written reviews are positive against 86% of PBC DART's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ABDi GateAccess ships an update every 3 weeks, PBC DART every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
