# TVA Nouvelles vs Le Devoir Virtuel

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TVA Nouvelles at 80% against Le Devoir Virtuel's 50%. TVA Nouvelles also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 7 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Le Devoir Virtuel's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Le Devoir Virtuel holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TVA Nouvelles has 31K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of TVA Nouvelles's written reviews are positive against 50% of Le Devoir Virtuel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TVA Nouvelles ships an update every 3 weeks, Le Devoir Virtuel every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
