# Pacsun vs lululemon

The clearest difference is ads: Pacsun at none against lululemon's shown. Pacsun also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). lululemon's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and chart position there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

lululemon holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: lululemon has 534K ratings behind it against 67K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of Pacsun's written reviews are positive against 61% of lululemon's.

Pacsun ships an update every 5 weeks, lululemon fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
