# Our Daily Bread vs Alpha App

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Our Daily Bread at 2.6K against Alpha App's 10. Our Daily Bread also leads on chart position (#177 vs unranked). Alpha App's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.9 for Our Daily Bread against 3.9 for Alpha App. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Our Daily Bread has 2.6K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 49% of Our Daily Bread's written reviews are positive against 50% of Alpha App's.

Our Daily Bread ships an update monthly, Alpha App fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
