# Mátra vs Mountex

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mountex at 100% against Mátra's 0%. Mountex also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). Mátra's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mátra holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Mátra's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mountex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mátra ships an update every 5 months, Mountex every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
