# Boatsales vs LMCT+

Boatsales and LMCT+ both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 94% of LMCT+'s written reviews are positive against 37% of Boatsales's. LMCT+ also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (17K vs 7). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Boatsales holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LMCT+ has 17K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Boatsales's written reviews are positive against 94% of LMCT+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
