# iTouch Remote Free vs VMouse

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: iTouch Remote Free at none against VMouse's 2. iTouch Remote Free also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 63%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.6). VMouse's advantage is ratings volume (39 vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VMouse sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. iTouch Remote Free asks for nothing beyond the download.

VMouse holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VMouse has 39 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of iTouch Remote Free's written reviews are positive against 63% of VMouse's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iTouch Remote Free ships an update every 3 months, VMouse every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
