# LightInTheBox vs OUKU

The clearest difference is ads: LightInTheBox at none against OUKU's shown. LightInTheBox also leads on ratings volume (60K vs 904) and review sentiment (79% vs 60%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for LightInTheBox against 4.5 for OUKU. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LightInTheBox has 60K ratings behind it against 904, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 79% of LightInTheBox's written reviews are positive against 60% of OUKU's.

LightInTheBox ships an update fortnightly, OUKU every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
