# Record vs O País

The clearest difference is rating: O País at 5.0 against Record's 2.7. O País also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Record's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Record sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. O País asks for nothing beyond the download.

O País holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Record has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Record ships an update every 2 months, O País every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
