# BMI Calculator Pro. vs Pulse Camera Control

The clearest difference is rating: BMI Calculator Pro. at 4.0 against Pulse Camera Control's 3.0. BMI Calculator Pro. also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). Pulse Camera Control's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 1) and review sentiment (45% vs 34%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BMI Calculator Pro. holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pulse Camera Control has 23 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of BMI Calculator Pro.'s written reviews are positive against 45% of Pulse Camera Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
