# Vy vs Flytoget

The clearest difference is rating: Flytoget at 4.6 against Vy's 2.9. Vy's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flytoget holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 40 and 99 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Vy's written reviews are positive against 12% of Flytoget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vy ships an update every 10 days, Flytoget every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
