# DTMF Dial vs BS HT

The clearest difference is rating: BS HT at 2.4 against DTMF Dial's 1.0. BS HT also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 27 months) and ratings volume (55 vs 5). DTMF Dial's advantage is review sentiment (36% vs 25%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BS HT holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BS HT has 55 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of DTMF Dial's written reviews are positive against 25% of BS HT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DTMF Dial ships an update every 27 months, BS HT every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
