# Deadlock vs Electric Race

The clearest difference is rating: Electric Race at 5.0 against Deadlock's 4.3. Deadlock's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 20 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Deadlock sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Electric Race sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Electric Race holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Deadlock has 4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Deadlock ships an update monthly, Electric Race every 20 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
