# Selvedge vs Ceramic Review

The clearest difference is rating: Selvedge at 5.0 against Ceramic Review's 4.5. Ceramic Review's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 42%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Selvedge sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 2 months and Ceramic Review sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Selvedge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Selvedge's written reviews are positive against 75% of Ceramic Review's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
