# PING vs FineTuned

The clearest difference is rating: FineTuned at 5.0 against PING's 2.0. FineTuned also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 3 months). PING's advantage is ratings volume (93 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FineTuned holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PING has 93 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PING ships an update every 3 months, FineTuned every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
