# DayTime vs Super Clock

The clearest difference is rating: DayTime at 4.6 against Super Clock's 3.7. DayTime also leads on ratings volume (150 vs 35) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). Super Clock's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (72% vs 50%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayTime sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 6 months and Super Clock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DayTime holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 150 and 35 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of DayTime's written reviews are positive against 72% of Super Clock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DayTime ships an update every 2 months, Super Clock every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
